      Verdict

      WINGS OF WAR has finished closest of these when beaten less than a length over 5f at Leicester on his debut. This extra distance should suit Clive Cox’ grey and he gets the vote. Sovereign Prince was a disappointing favourite at Newbury last time having placed on his introduction and has been recently gelded while the remainder have yet to threaten with Jazz Club, King Of War and Shivraj looking the most likely to improve.
