In depth

Verdict

Barry Hills has saddled the last two winners of this race and he has strong candidates in Art Princess and Misdaqeya as he bids for a hat-trick. However, as Paul Cole is enjoying such a good run at present, we'll nominate Mambo Light. The selection's dam is from the family of Peeping Fawn and Xaar and this impeccably bred Kingmambo filly is herself a half-sister to a high class sprinter. She certainly looks the part on paper. Mind you, that could be said about a few of these whilst the booking of Jamie Spencer for the American bred Yaldas Girl takes the eye. River Rye rates a mention with the Hannon team going great guns but Mambo Light is the suggestion.
