    Verdict

With just three winning favourites and four winners returned at double figure prices in the last ten years the market doesn't always prove to be a reliable guide but there's little else to go on. Amaakin and King's Charm are the only two with Group race entries at this stage so make the short-list and we'll take a chance with the Chapple-Hyam colt. The son of Gone West will need to win this with some authority if he's to return here for a crack at the Guineas next month and the stable has made a strong start to the season. King's Charm is entered for the Irish Derby but is related to winners at a mile and should find this a sufficient test for his debut; Jeremy Noseda has saddled the winner of this race a couple of times in recent years. Tryst will be sure to have his supporters whilst confidence behind the chances of Moonquake and Promise Maker will be encouraging but we'll put Amaakin forwards.
