        Verdict

        Scat Daddy can sire a high-class sprinter not least Ballydoyle’s Caravaggio and VAN BEETHOVEN is another of his offspring. This doesn’t look the most competitive of novice races and Aidan O’Brien’s colt is taken to make a winning start under Ryan Moore. I Am A Dreamer’s third at Musselburgh looks stronger form than Ynys Mon managed at Bath and he can figure while Ballistic is speedily-bred and preferred to Jackstar. Pesci and Aloysius Lilius represent powerful northern yards that can get a newcomer ready for action.
