      Verdict

FIGMENT looked an unlucky loser when fourth here in May and started favourite a couple of weeks later at Nottingham but appeared to find soft ground and an extended mile beyond her. She's been given a bit of time to mature and can make all on this fast ground. Floriss looks a big threat as she really started to motor in the closing stages over 7f here last month and this trip should prove ideal. Wickedly Smart made an eye-catching debut in that latter event, running on nicely when the race was all over, so she's one to note along with the newcomers Intrigue, who is related to numerous winners, and Melting Ice.
