The veteran Jonnie Skull can usually be relied on to do his best as 21 victories in a long career signifies though he's probably high enough in the ratings at present. Frankie Dettori is on board ZESHOV and Jeremy Noseda's charge has much more scope than most of these rivals as shown when a close fourth at Goodwood. That was only his sixth start and with more to come he can gain his second victory. Intrepid has a big weight but this isn't the toughest of heats and he won nicely at Leicester before finding a slight step-up in class from a 5lb higher mark to much for him at Chester. Embankment scored at Kempton in May and his latest run there is best ignored as he was trapped on the wide outside. He could be the one to give the selection most trouble.
