      Verdict

Repertory will have his ideal conditions, but he has no easy task giving weight away all round, while Welsh Emperor turned in a personal best last time when handing out a comprehensive beating to the in-form Attache. He has more to do off this mark, but he is an April foal and should have plenty of improvement to come. Budelli has enjoyed a cracking season and ran as well as ever when not beaten far at York last week. He handles soft ground and must go well, but a chance is taken with Compton Dynamo, who has his first run for Willie Musson having been claimed out of a race at Warwick for ¿25,000 by the trainer. It is fair to say he has been disappointing since shaping with plenty of promise over this course back in April, but a change of scenery could well do the trick.
