Verdict

INVINCIBLE HEART and Run For The Hills look the best of this bunch and the former gets the vote. Jane Chapple-Hyam's charge was a good ground runner-up at Newbury over this trip last time having also gone well with cut in the ground at Doncaster prior to that. Those pieces of form are probably the best on offer here in context, so if he is able to reproduce that on ground that the clerk of the course describes as being just on the fast side of good then he can score. Run For The Hills progressed from first run to second for John Gosden and the latter run at Goodwood marks him out as a leading contender to break his duck here. Petsas Pleasure made a pleasing debut at Redcar and can improve for that outing to take a closer hand here under Alan Munro, now dropped back in trip. Izzi Mill has shown up well in two runs but will need to improve a fair bit to take some money home this time and Getcarter may be a better proposition given that the form of his last run is working out pretty well. Catigo is related to winners at the trip as juveniles and should go on the ground, and Sir Michael Stoute's filly looks the most interesting of the newcomers, though Balaagha is another to have a good look at. An interesting opener and we'll take Invincible Heart to score.
