        Verdict

        Warsaan seemed to improve for the step up to a mile when beaten a length at Kempton and the drop back to 7f may not prove ideal. By contrast, CHARLES FOX scored over today’s trip at Kempton before beaten over 6f and James Fanshawe’s charge gets the vote on that earlier success. Onefootinparadise ran well for second at Beverley last time and Global Spirit went close on that track at the end of last year but Lethal Angel is less exposed than both as she makes her handicap debut. Austin Powers is another returning to action having been gelded over the winter.
