        Verdict

Godolphin’s runner in this, Burj, is a half-brother to Nell Gwyn winner Soliloquy but it may be significant that James Doyle instead partners William Haggas’ 80,000gns colt Eyelool, though the market will probably tell us more. Richard Hannon’s entries in races like this are always worth a second look and PESTO is no exception. His dam has produced winners with all four of her offspring to race and he, too, cost 80,000gns as a yearling. Manton Warrior is a half-brother to six winners and could also be worth following in the months ahead.
