Verdict

As in the first division, the market is likely to prove the best guide but FLY THE NEST didn’t do a lot wrong when second to Konchek at Newmarket and is pretty much guaranteed to appreciate the extra furlong – Charlie Appleby’s colt can go one better. Blonde Warrior is a half-brother to four winners and likely to know his job. He’ll be even better over 7f and a mile later in the season but warrants respect. Mykindofsunshine may be the biggest danger to the selection as the Zebedee colt is speedily-bred and a half-brother to five winners. Bought for £95,000 last year, he is from a yard in cracking form.
