      Verdict

      AL AASY was found wanting in Listed company here on his return to action but will find life easier in this company. The Haggas colt may also improve for today’s longer trip and should have the measure of Alenh and Royal Bassett on these terms. Cigoli still finished well beaten when third over 1m4f at Kempton in February but it’s too soon to write off the 1.1 million guineas purchase and he’s preferred to the other Godolphin runner and newcomer Arabic Welcome.
