Verdict

A distinct lack of winning form on offer given today's field are all rated 90 and above. Most have been competing in better company, however, including JUSTINEO. Roger Varian's speedy colt has failed to hang on the lead over 6f on his last couple of starts in pattern races so the drop back to the minimum trip looks an obvious move. He's just preferred to Stepper Point, who wasn't disgraced in the King's Stand on his penultimate start, while Pandar could also figure if reproducing his earlier fourth at Haydock in similar company to this. La Fortunata has been running well in decent handicaps but has a bit to find in this company while Qatar import Bern Me Baby is hard to assess on her debut for Marco Botti.
