      Verdict

      Chicago Doll still looks a shade high in the weights judged on recent placed efforts and finished behind Kepala when the latter was narrowly beaten at Newbury in July. Bollin Joan failed in a bid for a hat-trick off today’s mark at York while Folk Dance steps up in trip once again having come up short over 1m2f at Lingfield last time. ANGEL FAIRY also finished second over the latter trip at Sandown but was beaten less than a length on her handicap debut despite having to be switched for a run and can go one better with this extra distance likely to suit.
