    In depth

    Formwatch

Flossy Top performer at best but not one to rely on and difficult to know optimum conditions; could easily win this but others preferred.

Premier Prize Has not been seen since being well beaten in the Oaks; talented performer but best watched on comeback.

Shamaiel (IRE) Has run well in two runs for new stable and this distance should suit; one for the short-list.

Valentine Band (USA) Lightly-raced and has done nothing wrong so far; stepped up in trip today and should have no trouble with the extra distance; one of the leading contenders.

Rockerlong Not disgraced in Ribblesdale last time but possibly better over ten furlongs; trainer in form and one to consider.

Damask Rose (IRE) Comfortable win at Redcar last time and open to improvement; but likely to find one or two too good here.

Discerning Like Damask Rose was an impressive winner last time and now takes on better opposition; form of that win is very strong and could pull off an each-way surprise.

Guaranda Won at Chester over this distance last time but much more required here and likely to find a couple too good.

Love Everlasting Won impressively at York and a reproduction of that effort would be good enough here; has optimum conditions and trainer is in superb form; looks the one to beat.

Ranin Ultra consistent performer who is closely matched with Love Everlasting on the form figures; a big danger and sure to run a good race.

Tjinouska (USA) Impressive winner at Goodwood and although worth a try here requires improvement.
