In depth
Formwatch
Amicable (IRE) Not disgraced at Ascot last time and is on a decent mark at present; looks set to make a bold bid to defy top-weight.
Sixty Seconds (IRE) Dropped back to a mile after a series of consistent efforts over further; difficult to know optimum distance but not without a chance in an open race.
Inspector General (IRE) Was not disgraced on last try at this trip at Haydock and after two good runs over seven furlongs looks set for another good effort; stable is in form and one to fear.
Turku Consistent performer and not without a chance; stable is flying but may just find one or two too good here.
Putra Pekan Has not really improved on last season's efforts and tends to find a couple too good.
Ecstatic Drop back to a mile should not inconvenience and looks set to put in usual consistent effort; one for the short-list.
Lord Protector (IRE) Has been in good form in good races and is running over optimum distance; would just prefer faster ground but one to consider.
Danelor (IRE) Lightly-raced and open to improvement; best effort last time when winning over seven furlongs and returns to the mile today; a leading contender but this race is harder.
Dress Rehearsal Represents in-form yard and gained deserved success at Ripon last time; open to improvement but much more required here.
Forest Tune (IRE) Has not improved since winning on debut at Pontefract and although he is on a reasonable mark he will need to improve to win this.
