Verdict
Palm Court has a 6lb penalty to carry for his success at Bath last week and that may just anchor Roger Charlton's colt who looks worth taking on under his big weight so preference is for Cheque, who gets the vote over Stubbs Art. The last mentioned is set to go up 4lbs in future handicaps following a decent effort at Doncaster last week and David Elsworth's colt has to be respected. Relinquished has been thereabouts of late and Jeremy Noseda's filly has solid place claims, while Townkab looks best watched after a disappointing effort at Lingfield last time. Irish Artist looks to have too much weight for what he has achieved and preference is for Jamie Osborne's Cheque who looks to be going the right way and is taken to follow up his recent Lingfield maiden success.
