Verdict
RANGEFINDER has some useful Italian form to his name and he is fancied to relish the new challenge over this trip. Martyr is an interesting one to note in the betting, while Lochiel and John Terry are closely matched and are likely to have a good scrap between themselves. The former held court that last time they met and it would come as no surprise to see the same outcome today. Martyr likes fast ground and will be a big threat if the rain stays away. He proved he is resilient with a gutsy win last time out and is likely to be a thorn in the side of the selection. However, Luca Cumani has done well with a number of similar types in recent times and Rangefinder should be followed with interest now he has proved he has acclimatised to racing in the UK.
