Verdict

CITRUS STAR didn't get the clearest of runs when third in a higher grade race at Goodwood last time. With the trip and ground in his favour here, Chris Wall's charge rates the selection. Yair Hill has a bit to find with the latter on latest running and the consistent Novellen Lad still looks a shade high in the handicap. The same applies to Mr Red Clubs, up another 3lb after a good effort in Listed company, while Gouray Girl should be thereabouts again though she hasn't won since 2010. My Son Max could make his presence felt and so could C&D winner Paramour if the rain arrives.
