In depth
Verdict
Roman Holiday ended last season with a double over 6f but stays this far and will have come on for last month’s reappearance. Angel Of Darkness has also won twice over 6f and went gone close over today’s trip at Lingfield in between but PANOVA (NAP) gets the nod. Sir Michael Stoute’s filly finished clear of the rest when runner-up at Goodwood on her reappearance, despite having to be switched and is expected to find the necessary improvement to get her head back in front. Soft ground may have been an excuse for Car,olinae’s below-par effort last time and she can do better today.
