    Verdict

Dane O’Neill has chosen Kempton fourth ALTHAAQIB ahead of Tafawoq. His mount missed the break and ran green on debut so there should be plenty more to come and he gets the nod ahead of the well-bred Sharp Practice, another likely improver after being hampered on debut at Chelmsford. Red Starlight has a penalty for winning at Newbury in the autumn but she was third on her reappearance at Ascot, though there were only four runners. Auxerre is a half-brother to two winners so worth a market check and Contingency Fee, a £42,000 yearling, is another newcomer to note. Whitlock was well beaten on his only run last year and should better that effort this season.
