In depth

Verdict

It often pays to stick with those near the top of the weights in nurseries so we will nominate Silver Wraith and Sea Hunter against the field in this six-furlong contest. Silver Wraith won twice over five furlongs before running a very good race in a similar event over today's course and distance last time. A repeat of that type of effort should see him go well. Given that Sea Hunter was just a half-length ahead of him that day and is just a pounds worse off at the weights, then he too holds solid claims. There are a mixture of improvers and headscratchers among the opposition and the betting market will give you an idea of their chances but, in having to make a choice, we will just come down in favour of Silver Wraith to get his revenge on Sea Hunter in the nursery.
