Verdict
There was cut in the ground when BURANO made his debut over C&D and he was only headed close home by Rockintante. Today's rival Paladin was nearly five lengths behind and Brian Meehan's Dalakhani colt is taken get off the mark here. Storming Bernard will appreciate the extra furlong judged on his recent debut at Windsor, but there is a host of well-bred newcomers to consider and the pick of those could be Entifaadha. He cost 360,000gns and is a half-brother to Group 1 winner Regal Parade among others. An entry in the Champagne Stakes suggests he could figure along with Royal Lodge-entry Fencing, while Protanto cost 120,000gns and is entered in both of those leading juvenile races.
