Verdict
Classic Punch carried the same weight to victory in this race last year and looks to have been aimed at today's renewal. He's a leading contender along with Albaqaa, who scored over a mile here last time and remains on a winning mark, while Club Oceanic could bounce back from a poor run over C&D last time having landed a double at Goodwood before that. George Adamson may need a longer trip these days and another chance is given to TAQLEED. He's not lived up to expectations in two runs this year after an impressive win over C&D last August, but looks to have his ideal conditions here, and this could be the day he shows his true colours.
