        Verdict

        Fort Mchenry ruined his chance last time by taking a fierce grip. He will need to learn to settle better and he may not want the ground too fast for he shows plenty of knee action. Cranshaws came from an impossible position at Beverley and this straight mile will be right up his street. Ribbons And Bows was only just denied in a Listed event last time and that looked an improvement on what she had shown before, but that event was slowly run and she may have been flattered by that effort. Laggan Bay will appreciate the step up in trip, but the vote goes to Lodge Keeper. A half-brother to the useful Border Artist, he will have no trouble with the step up in trip and he is taken to lead a more than useful bunch home.
