      Verdict

      It is sad to see the former high class hurdler/chaser Cadougold, running at this level. A classy if somewhat quirky individual, he could pick these up and carry them if he was only half straight. Dante's Battle was not disgraced in a decent handicap last time, and if Cadougold is on a none goind day he looks the one most likely to take advantage. Distant Storm and Preferred can fight out the minor honours.
