Verdict

Belski will be more at home over this trip, but this looks a match between Canadiane and Chalcedony. The latter claimed a useful scalp in the shape of Mersey Beat, when winning over course and distance last month. He is open to any amount of improvement and should be too strong for the Pipe runner. Canadiane has plenty of experience over the larger obstacles and will be a tough nut to crack, but she is probably better over the minimum trip and may find the weight concession beyond her.
