Verdict

Andre Fabre sends TRIDENT over from France. The Coolmore-owned colt found previous Norfolk Stakes winner Perfect Power too good in the Group 1 Prix Morny at Deauville but beat Richmond Stakes winner Asymmetric on that occasion and that looks strong enough form to land this prize. Claim The Crown drops back down in trip after placing in a Group 3 in France while Ribhi came up short in a Listed contest at Doncaster. The progressive Harrow and nursery winner Modern Games try their luck at this higher level but both Cresta and Ring Of Beara have even more to find.
