In depth

Verdict

Most of these have been competing at 1m6f including Max Vega and Roberto Escobarr, who were both beaten in the Ebor at York last month but finished ahead of Morando in a Group 3 before that. Island Brave came good in the Old Borough Cup Handicap at Haydock while Rhythmic Intent took the Mallard Handicap at Doncaster and both are preferred to Eileendover and the Irish raider Crowns Major. NAYEF ROAD showed signs of a return to form when third behind Stradivarius in the Doncaster Cup last time and Mark Johnston’s charge may well have the measure of these eased in grade.
