        Verdict

        Klopp of The Kop, placed in a major sales race at York, couldn't quite hold on over 6f on fast going at Ascot last month and has to cope with a longer trip and much softer ground. Emaraty Hero was always in the front rank over a mile at Newcastle so should get into contention if handling this surface while Evening Sun was very green at Newbury and should do much better. Al Zaraqaan is related to Irish 2000 Guineas winner Awtaad and other winners though it's KING LEONIDAS whose pedigree catches the eye. A 750,000gns purchase, he's by Kingman out of a Listed winner and can start paying back some of the layout here. Lord Warburton is related to several winners and Mafia Power cost 200,000gns as a yearling.
