Verdict
North Point has found a mile just beyond him the last twice though whether he'll be suited by softer ground is unknown. Desert Palms didn't enjoy fast going at Windsor and did better on softer ground at Newbury while High Flying Bird led for a long way over a mile at Pontefract on good to soft. LIGHT THE FUSE has had plenty of experience which he put to good use at Yarmouth where he led inside the final furlong only to be caught close home. That was over a mile on heavy ground so this should be ideal and he's on the same mark. Sir Oliver showed much more dash when staying on over 6f at Wolverhampton and if handling the surface could get into contention.
