Verdict

Most can be given a chance but PROTECTED GUEST (NAP) drops down a couple of grades after finishing fourth over a mile here and today’s longer trip and faster ground should suit George Margarson’s charge. Both Autumn Leaves and the less-exposed Solar Echo won their respective latest starts at Sandown with preference for the latter while Black Lotus bids for a hat-trick raised 5lb after winning at Yarmouth. Matewan finished runner-up over track and trip last week and Couldn't Could She was second at Windsor but both are upped in class for this while Redcar winner Railport Dolly is preferred to the returning Isaac Wonder.
