In depth
Verdict
Camelot, was far too green to do himself justice when behind subsequent winner Wild Fling, in a match at the Guineas meeting. He should be wiser for the experience. Courageous Duke looks the sort to do better in handicaps, while Iktinas has been found out at this level and does not appear good enough. Willie Haggas who won this last year, relies on Decisive, and he must be respected. Newcomers Mary Boone, from a yard in better form now and Vortex, who will probably be better over further in time would not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish, but preference is for Helloimustbegoing, who shaped quite well on her debut last year with subsequent winners, Cozy Maria and Oaks favourite Islington, behind her that day.
