Verdict
Ho Choi who ran well for a long way, on the wrong side in the Guineas, will be more at home at this level, while Steenberg, who raced on the far side that day, didn't seem to get home, and will be happier over this shorter trip. This trip may also bring about improvement from Irony, while Loweswater will need to put behind him a poor effort in the Free Handicap, where he was later reported to have "lost his action". The vote goes to Millennium Dragon, so impressive in a Classified Stakes here earlier on in the month. He should take this en route to the Jersey Stakes at the Royal Meeting.
