      Verdict

      After back-to-back wins at Bath, Queen Of Desire went in search of black type in a Listed race in Italy but came up well short. Patrick has been running better than form figures would suggest and can’t get much lower in the weights. Diamond Lady was an unlucky loser in this 12 months ago and races off a 4lb lower mark. She’s been placed three times this year but is hard to win with and it would be no surprise if FOXY FOREVER repeated last year’s success off a 2lb higher mark. He came right back to form at Yarmouth earlier this month and his stable has been among the winners lately. Compas Scoobie and Excellent George look the pick of the remainder.
