      Verdict

Second over track and trip in June, Harlem Nights couldn’t cope with LEADENHALL (NAP) at Haydock next time. He came good at Doncaster six days ago but now carries a penalty meaning he is 2lb worse off with Ralph Beckett’s gelding. Yellow Lion won at the 10th attempt at Salisbury but is 4lb higher while Almarin is still seeking a first victory in a handicap, though has finished second at Doncaster and York this year. United Force and Speriamo have some improving to do if they are to figure.
