Verdict
This looks a cracking contest with yet another Mark Johnston improver in Kosika arriving in spectacular form after her best performance yet at Newbury. She's down a furlong here but will prove a tough nut to crack at her best but LAFTAH and Perfect Persuasion, first and second at Leicester last time, are preferred in receipt of so much weight, especially as both should progress further after a mere handful of outings. There is a case for suggesting that the Haggas filly could turn the form around with the selection, but the 5lb claim of Cam Hardie is taken to prove the decisive factor and the Varian inmate can complete the hat-trick. Bragging needs to come forward to contend but was pulled out of a hot handicap at the July meeting on account of the soft ground and is clearly well regarded. Athenian is of interest on her first stab at this trip, with Remember, progressing nicely, also likely to deliver a prominent account.
