Verdict
The three-year-olds outnumber the older horses in this. Of the latter group, Olympicus may be the pick as he’s run well at Doncaster and Sandown since a pipe-opener for the yard in June. Not beaten far over a mile here in June, ASHMORE has slipped down the ratings since and there is every chance he’ll stay the extra being out of a Declaration Of War mare. Blue Universe was third behind a prolific winner over track and trip latest and Kamanika has won over the trip at Nottingham and Leicester this year, though is closely matched with Expert Witness on today’s terms. Hakuna Babe has been more consistent of late so looks best of the rest.
