Verdict

Impossible to be confident about OLD ENGLISH as he's finished stone last in two of his last three runs but sandwiched in between was an excellent Beverley effort over this trip in useful handicap grade when reeled in late on by Toto Skyllachy. That was over a mile and he reverts to that trip here and is capable of scoring at his best. Joe Strummer is coming along steadily and was at his best yet when a fair third here last time and should be involved at the business end. Two Certainties has every chance if repeating the form that saw him account for Rough Rock over C&D in June and hasn't been disgraced since, whilst Aciano has found life tougher off higher marks since scoring at Doncaster, although not beaten that far the last twice.
