Dominate could be interesting dropping back to 5f on softer ground as he's starting to look very well handicapped. Chester form doesn't always translate to more conventional tracks but Ballesteros won well on the Roodeye last week while Macdillon exploded the theory that he can only win at Sandown by scoring at Newbury earlier this month. JUDGE 'N JURY and Groundworker were behind on the Berkshire course but Ron Harris' veteran wasn't beaten far and is 4lb better off here, not taking into account Mikey Ennis' claim - he is still capable on his day. Free Zone is unlikely to be far away again and Absolute Champion should also be in the firing-line but this may be a step too far for the in-form Red Invader.
