FANTASTIC MOON quickened nicely off a strong pace to beat good yardsticks Tha'Ir and Master Of War in the Solario Stakes over 7f at Sandown. Mocenigo was only fourth and looks held and though Jeremy Noseda's charge needs to improve again to land this he is perfectly capable of doing so and the extra furlong won't be a problem. Steeler made Dundonnell pull out all the stops in the Acomb at York in between a couple of narrow wins over 7f at Goodwood. He has the beating of Afonso De Sousa on his run on the Knavesmire and rates a bigger danger than Newbury second Excess Knowledge but Al Waab was only beaten a head by the useful Havana Gold in a Listed race over this trip at Haydock and he's less exposed than Artigiano, Birdman and One Word More.
