Verdict

PSALM was a 300,000gns yearling and is a full brother to winning miler Boerhan as well being a half-brother to three other winners. The Ballydoyle newcomer still has an entry in the Dewhurst so is much respected even though Broadway Act sets a decent standard on his two runs to date on the July course here. He found only a subsequent Listed second too good on debut and a second run two weeks later may have come too soon. A good run from Al Shabab Storm in the first division would boost the claims of Leicester fourth Placo and Ten Bob Tony still has plenty of time while the Kingman colt Markoon, the first foal to race of a Listed winner, should be monitored for any market support.
