      Verdict

      Last year’s Two-Year-Old Trophy winner, FLOTUS ended the season with an even better effort when runner-up in the Group 1 Cheveley Park over track and trip and is clear at the weights. The Crisfords’ filly looks to have most to fear from Umm Kulthum though the latter hasn’t raced since finishing third in a Group 2 at Haydock last May. Gale Force Maya finished in front of both Tenaya Canyon and Queen Kahlua when narrowly beaten in a Listed race here in October and returned to action with a handicap success over track and trip. Improvised has little chance on these terms while Talabaat debuts for a new yard having won three times over longer trips in France.
