Verdict
Perfectperformance gets the confident vote with Brecon Beacon and In The Fan rating the main dangers. The selection, a half-brother to the group winning Russian Rhythm, won well on his debut when defeating Cape Greko on softer ground than ideal. He is sure to come on for the run and on this faster ground he is impossible to oppose. Brecon Beacon is the one we fear the most and he was a good second at Royal Ascot behind Whazzat and as that form looks rock solid he should go well. However, he lacks the scope of the selection and for that reason is taken on. In The Fan is another unexposed type who won well last time out when defeating Kiswahili. He has plenty of scope for improvement but this looks much tougher. Propinquity is from a yard in form and is another with place claims but Perfectperformance has bags of potential and looks the one to beat.
