Wrighty Almighty gets the confident vote in the opener with Mineral Star and Safsoof put forward as the main dangers. The selection is a lightly-raced colt who should have too much class for his rivals today. He won his first two races in good style before disappointing last time at Haydock. However, that race probably came a bit too quickly for him and as he has been given a break since that run he should be able to resume winning ways here. Mineral Star won well at York last time and he could prove to be quite useful. However, he gave the impression last time that the step-up to a mile would see him at his best and we are prepared to take him on over today's trip. Safsoof is the Godolphin representative here and although he has got plenty of ability he does not appear to be the most straightforward. He is capable of going well but the handicapper may just have his measure at present and he may find a couple too good. Game Lad is a consistent type and he looks to be the best of the remainder, but for the winner we are happy to stick with the potentially smart Wrighty Almighty.
