Verdict

MONSIEUR GIBRALTAR has his first run for Paul Nicholls but has won a couple of times in France, which is why he's carrying a double penalty. He has the potential to be much better than these and is hard to oppose, though Val D'Arc is almost certainly better than he's shown so far. Sandy Beach has shown some ability but lacks an extra gear, though still makes more appeal than stable companions Bears Rails and East Hill.
