In depth

Verdict

Belfast Banter made a solid start to bumper life with Dan Skelton when third at Market Rasen and should come on appreciably for the run. He was well supported that day and has a strong claim here with improvement due. However, ECHO DU LARGE also displayed potential on his first start when staying on quite nicely in the Exeter bumper won by Story Of Friends. Hopefully he'll handle this sharper track but looks a useful prospect in the making whatever his fate here. Noel's Boy has joined the Pipe yard after a promising start in his sole point-to-point and now has a first start since wind surgery. The market should assist in sorting out the newcomers.
