Verdict

Good Little Wife is a newcomer to note for Hobbs and Johnson but it's hard to look beyond FULL BORE (NAP). Nicky Henderson has a sterling record in bumpers and his son of Milan made a pleasing debut when runner-up to Westbury at Huntingdon in late May. He took plenty of time to get organised but came home in really good fashion once the penny dropped. This looks a gilt-edged opportunity for him to get off the mark before going on to better things. Sid Hoodie showed improvement on her second start when fourth at Uttoxeter last month and completes the shortlist, although she'll have to progress significantly to trouble the selection.
