Green Propsect gets the vote here ahead of Shoudawoudacouda and Monash Lad. The selection is a really consistent sort in the right grade who will be suited by both the track and the ground. He's a tenacious individual who won't be easy to pass and comes here on the back of a hardfought success in a Wincanton handicap. Shoudawoudacouda has to be feared given the eyecatching trainer/jockey combination. As for the horse, he has a bit to prove on the ground but it shouldn't be a problem and he certainly has the ability to win in this company as he showed when finishing second in a valuable handicap at Chepstow in January but his recent form has to be a concern. Councillor Jack has claims but was due to run yesterday whilst Monash Lad could go well if none the worse for a slightly disappointing run in a handicap here last time. Green Prospect has less to prove than most in this field and is the call.
