Verdict
A cracking contest for the time of year and Sizing Platinum arrives in peak form having finished a close second in a Listed handicap at Ayr last month, though has gone up 5lb since. Play The Ace rattled up a four-timer at the end of last year but is looking high enough in the weights now. Roman Flight ran well on the Flat following a lengthy absence while Alcala has won four of five previous starts around here. The latter had HENRYVILLE well behind in Market Rasen’s Summer Plate last July but Harry Fry’s charge is now a pound lower than when winning this 12 months ago and holds Ballybolley on that run - this is his time of year so a return to top form is anticipated. Casino Markets also has claims but this may be too hot for Cut The Corner.
